After submitting our blog's sitemap to these search engines, their crawlers come to our blog to index it. After the indexation of our blog gets completed, our blog gets visible in the Search Engine Results, from where a huge traffic lands to our blog. So, its necessary to submit a sitemap to search engines and without you can't proceed in the journey of blogging.

How To Submit Blogger Sitemap To Bing And Yahoo ?

Its very simple and easy, We are pretty sure you will do it successfully. As, we already told you that Bing and Yahoo are connected with each other so, we only have to submit sitemap to Bing and Yahoo will take that sitemap from Bing automatically so, nothing is for you to worry about. First we will verify our blog in Bing Webmaster Tools and than we will submit our sitemap to it. So, lets go for it

Go to Bing Webmaster Tools >> Sing in (Create if you don't have one)
There will be an option My Site at the top right corner, enter your blog URL there and click on Add to proceed.

After clicking on Add, you will be redirected to the next page, which will be something like below

In the Add a Sitemap box, paste the following code

Note : Above code is for 500 posts. If you have published more than 500 posts than chose the appropriate code from below

For 1 to 500 Posts :

http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

For 500 To 1000 Posts :

http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=500&max-results=1000

For 1000 To 1500 Posts :

http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1000&max-results=1500

For 1500 to 2000 Posts :

http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1500&max-results=2000

After adding the appropriate code from above, replace the yellow highlighted link with your blog's URL.

After that, click on Add button.

Now, after clicking the Add button you will be asked to verify ownership of your blog.
There, you will see a meta tag, copy it.

Submitting blogger Sitemap to Bing And Yahoo

Open new tab in your browser (Don't close the previous one) and go to Blogger.
Template >> Edit HTML >> Find <head>
Paste the meta tag below <head>, which you copied in above steps.
Click on Save Template.
Now, come back to the previous Bing Webmaster Tools tab and click on Verify.

Your blog's sitemap is submitted successfully. You can see in the dashboard That Sitemap status is pending.

You have to wait at least a week to get your blog indexed. So, keep calm !

Verifying Your Blog In Google Webmaster Tools

First you should have to go to the Google Webmaster Tools. Log in there using your Blogger account, and you will see your blog name listed there automatically because this tools is also owned by Google Team, so for better service it automatically adds your blogs in the list. Go to Webmaster Tools Homepage >> Look For Your Blog Name
Click Manage Site on the right side and than click on Add or remove users.

Next, click Manage Site Owners and go to Verify Using Different Method.
Tick mark, HTML Tag.
A meta tag will appear, copy it.

Open a new tab in your browser. (Note : Don't close webmasters tool tab)
Go to Blogger >> Template >> Edit HTML.
Search for <head> and paste that meta tag which you copied in the above steps below the <head>.
Click Save Template.
Open the webmaster tools tab and click on Verify at the bottom of the page.
After clicking the Verify button, you will see a congratulations message that you have successfully verified your blog in Google Webmaster Tools. Now, lets jump to the next step and that is submitting your blog's sitemap to Google.

Submitting Sitemap To Google

Submitting your blog sitemap is also very easy. Just follow the below steps correctly and you will do it.

Go to Google Webmaster Tools, click on the name of your blog.
Next, there will be an option Sitemaps, click on it.
You will be redirected to another page, on the top right of that page, there will be an option Add/Test Sitemap. Click on that option. A popup will appear.

Copy the below code and paste it in the popup bar and press Submit Sitemap.

It really helps you when you don't have access to your PC or Laptop connected to the internet. So, in that difficult time Blogger offers you a peace keeping feature to publish your posts on your blog via your mobile or email. So, before wasting more of your time, I will straight move towards our today's topic.

Enable Mobile Posting In Blogger

So, that's the first step and its very easy. You can do both either enable the mobile posting or the email posting. Choice is yours. So, for enabling mobile posting on your blogger blog you should follow the below simple steps correctly :

Go to Blogger Dashboard.
Than settings >> Mobile And Email.
You will see something like the below screenshot

Now, click on Add Mobile Device (shown in red in the above screenshot)
On clicking it, a popup will appear, in which you will be asked for verifying your mobile device.
If you have MMS facility in your mobile phone, send the provided code to go@blogger.com.
If you don't have MMS facility in your mobile, send the code through SMS to blogger via the number 256447.
After that, your mobile number will be verified and you have to use the same number for posting on your blog via your mobile.
Now, to publish a post via mobile, just prepare the post in MMS or SMS and send it to [For MSS : go@blogger.com] [For SMS : 256447] and it will be published automatically.
That's it, you have enabled mobile posting for your blog.

Enable Email Posting In Blogger

Now, if you want to enable email posting on your blog just follow the below simple steps to accomplish the task.

In the same location [ Blogger Dashboard >> Settings >> Mobile And Email ]. There will be an email section below the mobile section which will look like something below.

Here, you have to create a secret blogger email address through which you will send your blog posts to blogger.com to publish them.
Now, in the field Secret Words (also shown in red, in above snap shot), put any secret code which should be ranging from 4 to 20 words.
For example, If I put my secret code as xyz, than my Blogger email will look like "ammarkn98.xyz@blogger.com
You can also see some options below, you can check them as your desires.
So, after setting up your secret Blogger email and the options below it, click on Save Settings at the top right corner.
Now, to post via email on your blog, send the prepared post to your secret blogger email (in my case ammarkn98.xyz@blogger.com) which you have created above.
That's All. You have enabled email posting on your blog.

So, its very important to create a mobile friendly version of your blog so that you can present your blog to the mobile users in a unique way, so they can roll around your blog smoothly and easily and in this way you will not lose the visitors using mobile devices. Another advantage is that you can also show Adsense ads in your mobile friendly blog because usually adsense ads are not displayed on mobile devices but through the way I will tell you today, you can easily insert Google Adsense Ads in your mobile blog.

Steps For Creating A Mobile Friendly Version Of Blogger Blog

Guys ! This task is not so much difficult and will take about only 20-25 min of yours. Just follow the below simple steps correctly :

Go to Duda Mobile.

Now, put the link of your blog in the address bar (also shown above) and click on Start For Free and you will be redirected to a new page.
On the new page, you can design your mobile blog. Their will be different templates. Select of your own choice and click on Next, on the top right corner (shown below)

After that, in the next step you can chose different widgets provided by Duda Mobile team to add in your mobile friendly blog. There are 4 categories of widgets that are Popular, Business, Design and Social. You can add different widgets as per your own desire. Just drag the widget from widget panel to the preview of your mobile blog on the left and it will be added in it. After completing this step, click on Next.

After clicking next, you will see two options, one will be free and the other will be premium. If you want to add adsense ads in your mobile blog, than you have to go for premium otherwise click on free (shown below)

After clicking on Continue (Basic), you will be asked to make an account on Duda Mobile. Fill all the fields correctly and click Create My Account. [If you have one already log in it].

After creating account, you will be redirected to the new page where you will see something like below snapshot. In the blue rectangle will be the preview URL of your mobile blog. Click on the option

Congratulations ! you have created the mobile version of your blog. Just copy the code which you will receive after clicking the above said option. Now, in the next step you have to add that code(shown in below screenshot) in your blog's template.

Inserting Your Mobile Blog's Redirect Code In Blogger

Now, simply go to Blogger Dashboard >> Template >> Edit HTML.
Search for <head> and just below <head>, paste that code which you copied in above steps.
Click Save Template and you have done it successfully.
